River People's family-run raft company runs more rivers than any other rafting company in Tena. Super fun rafting and one of the best ways to see the jungle. 

Trips range from beginners to advanced, which means just about anyone will be able to enjoy a day (or two) with River People.

The Jatunyacu (Class III+) A great pick for first time rafters, even families with kids. The Jatunyacu is a full day trip and includes a short jungle walk. Price: $65 per person

The Jondachi/Hollin (Class III -  IV) One of the most beautiful rivers in Ecuador, with waterfalls cascading into the river along the way. The trip starts with a 30 minute hike down to the river aided by porters. Before the rafting you can swim in a beautiful canyon that feeds into the Jondachi River.  Price: $80 per person

Hollin (Class IV+) The most challenging river rafted in the area. Suitable for experienced rafters in good physical condition. Two day camping trip. Available October through March.  Price: $300 per person

Misahualli (Class IV+) The Misahualli is a big water, canyon run with six different rivers feeding into it. There is a waterfall portage in the middle, where some climbing with harnesses is required. Some previous rafting experience is recommended. Available September through February  Price: $90 per person

All day trips include a buffet lunch, raft guide, safety kayaker, all equipment and transport. Multi-day trips include all camping gear and two safety kayakers.

Note: Raft trips subject to change depending on river levels. If a trip is cancelled arrangements will be made to raft another river or to refund 90% of payment.

River People also offers one day or multi-day jungle treks through waterfalls and canyons. Includes guide with intimate knowledge of the flora and fauna found in the area.
